iPhone Firmware v1.0.1: The Undocumented Truth

According to reports from many iPhone users, it seems that the first iPhone firmware update solves more issues than what has been officially documented by Apple.

Here's a short list of what has been reported fixed so far:

  • Battery icon problem: The icon didn't show 100% even if the battery was fully charged.
  • Safari browser is more stable and crash less than before. This seems to be particularly true when running with multiple open pages or with music playing at the same time.
  • Low call volume bug fixed: Users reported problems with volume level on certain calls, making conversation difficult.
  • IMAP e-mail accounts now display more sub-foldgers.
  • The mail client can now send blind copies of messages to the sender instead of having to use the carbon copy.
  • Expanded limits for engaging the passcode lock (can now be as late as an hour).
  • An enhanced VPN client with a back button to cancel a failed or slow connections.

If you notice anything else, feel free to let everyone know about it in the comments section!
